Paint Protection Film (PPF) Policy

At Beauty & Beast, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality Paint Protection Film (PPF) installations. To ensure complete transparency and set clear expectations, please review the following policy before booking.

Installation Expectations

Bubbles, Moisture & Haze

PPF is a wet-applied film. After installation, small bubbles, moisture pockets or light haziness may remain.
These are normal and will dissipate naturally during the 7–14 day curing period.
Please avoid washing your vehicle for at least 7 days after installation.

Dust, Dirt & Minor Contamination

We prepare every vehicle thoroughly and work in a controlled environment.
However, a completely dust-free installation is impossible.
A small, reasonable level of contamination under the film is normal, industry-acceptable, and does not affect protection or performance.

Coverage & Fitment

Edge Coverage

• PPF will be installed as close to the edges as reasonably possible.
• Edges will be wrapped where panel design allows.
• Some areas cannot be wrapped due to contours, tension points or integrity of the film.

Templates & Custom Fitting

• Films may be applied using manufacturer pre-cut templates or hand-cut techniques.
• Templates may not cover every millimetre of a panel.
• Full custom coverage or extended edges may incur additional charges.

Excluded Areas

Unless otherwise specified, the following are not typically covered:

• Inner door areas or door shuts
• Deep recesses
• Underside edges
• Hidden surfaces not visible from the outside

Vehicle Disassembly

To achieve better coverage, we may need to remove items such as:

• Badges
• Door handles
• Trim pieces
• Seals
• Other exterior components

This is only done when beneficial to the final result.

Clips, Fasteners & Age-Related Risks

Many modern vehicles use delicate or brittle clips.
Although we take extreme care, Beauty & Beast is not liable for clips or fasteners that break during normal removal procedures.

Paint Condition & Risks

Non-Original Paint

PPF adheres best to factory original paint.
Vehicles with resprayed, repaired or older paint may experience:

• Lifting
• Peeling
• Failure of paint adhesion

These risks increase when removing badges or repositioning film.

Paint Peeling Disclaimer

In rare cases, paint may peel during installation or future film removal.
If this occurs due to weak or non-original paint:
Beauty & Beast is not responsible for repainting or repair costs.

Aftercare Requirements

Curing Period

For 14 days:

• Avoid pressure washing
• Avoid aggressive chemicals
• Do not pick at edges
• Avoid waxing or polishing the film

Long-Term Care

• Use pH-neutral car shampoos
• Wash with clean mitts and microfiber towels
• Avoid abrasive polishes or compounds on the film

Warranty

Manufacturer Warranty

Covers defects such as:

• Yellowing
• Cracking
• Staining
• Delamination

Coverage depends on the film brand installed.

Installation Warranty

Beauty & Beast provides a 12-month installation warranty for issues related to:

• Edge lifting
• Adhesion failure
• Application defects

Excludes:

• Poor paint condition
• Impact or abrasion damage
• Wear-and-tear
• Failure to follow aftercare instructions
• Environmental fallout or chemical damage

Limitations & Exclusions

Beauty & Beast is not liable for:

• Pre-existing paint or clear coat defects
• Stone chips prior to installation
• Swirl marks or light scratches under the film
• Damage caused by incorrect washing methods
• Damage caused by third parties
• Paint issues due to non-original paintwork
• Normal ageing of the film

Customer Responsibilities

Before and after installation, customers agree to:

• Inform us of any known paintwork or repairs
• Inspect the vehicle upon collection
• Follow curing and aftercare instructions
• Understand the limitations outlined in this policy

By booking or leaving your vehicle with Beauty & Beast for Paint Protection Film installation, you acknowledge and accept this PPF Policy.
